I have run rangers exclusively for about a year and a half and, after much experimentation, this is the interrupt build I find most effective in PvP:
Expertise: 15 (11+4)
Wilderness: 11 (10+1)
Marksmanship: 11 (10+1)
( You can play with this if you like, but I like this best for the lower skill cost, longer defensive skills and it leaves only 1 unused attribute point. I use a silencing short bow and, with a superior rune of vigor, I wind up at 485 and 33. )
Skills:
Res Signet
Troll Unguent
Whirling Defense
Lightening Reflexes
Throw Dirt
Broadhead Arrow
Savage Shot
Distracting Shot

I'd like to point out that the build you posted in favor of the OP's build is actually inferior and his pees all over your build from a great height, it relys on actual skill and practiced timing rather than just spamming keys at dazed and vulnerable targets.

All I would suggest is take out tigers fury and put in troll also switch whirling for Natural stride, mending touch would also be nice to fit in, putting points from beast into wilderness and maybe losing 2 from marks should be enough, you might also like to switch to a recurve bow which I prefer for straight interupts.
@Sofa
If you really believe you're a godly interupter (which it appears you do) you wont need daze to help you catch those interupts. You should listen to Program who has already pointed out the flaws in your sub-standard build, he also has a bit more PvP experience than your 1 and a half years in RA (only slightly more ). And no, getting 30 wins in a row in RA doesnt mean you are godly, it means you are slightly better than the rest of the bottom of the barrel of PvP.

Thats because Punishing Shot IS ftw.
Getting 30 wins in RA just means you had a monk/rit and some reasonable damaging skills and your opponents.... didn't.

Boy,Woman, whatever, shutup. At least Program, somewhere among the way, has offered up a suggestion or two that could possibly be usefull. You are nothing but asinine insults and bullsh!t. You and your opinion are nothing but warts on the a$$ of progress.

^^^ This is how to totally destroy someone - gg program lol
Tbh bha should be run with apply (or possibly barbed)
For what you seem to be trying a do, a choking gas/practiced stance would work well also.
You keep talking about reflexes.
Without read the wind, you should be able to get a 1 sec cast to problem.
Anything less than that you cant hit it with reflexes consistantly.
That is why you are a ranger. For a good ranger, many of your interupts will be predictions.
If you want to interupt off reflexes all of the time, not use preparations... go play a mesmer - it will be better for that type of play.
Dshot and savage shot can easily fit into most builds.
You can play a normal build like burning arrow or cripshot or even BHA/apply and still keep interupting.
If you want to go for pure interupts i suggest either BHA/apply or read the wind/punishing or magebane.
Lastly - and maybe most importantly. Don't argue with program again. He does seem to know what he is talking about.
Good luck - you're really really going to need it...

1. Progress has already completely owned your suggestion. Theres nothing more to add.
2. You ignored it carried on with your build so you could attempt to brag about it been good.
Why repeat whats already been said when you're just gonna ignore it all over again? Perhaps your the 1 that shut up.
So when exactly are you gonna take it like a man, accept the truth and actually take peoples advice on board instead of responding with self serving crap like that?

Sofa, I suggest you take Program's advice. Your build is usable in Random Arenas, I'll give you that. 30 in a row might be a bit impressive (though random flaming and cheering by enemies and teammates respectively not so much?) but it doesn't mean much in RA. If you're looking for a better version of your build, listen to Program. I mean...touch rangers work in RA, it doesn't mean it's any useful as a build.

What do you want? A cookie? Any idiot can get far in RA if they get a couple of decent builds with them. Your build, isn't 1 of them. Besides if you have to use RA as an example of how good your build is its either bollocks or just won't work anywhere else due to restraints.

I don't get you? 2nd part of that was aimed at Sofa so... i guess thats ignorable. 1st part. Many things screw up trying to dodge BHA. Knockdowns, distractions (you can't always keep your view on the ranger to dodge skills. Lag is a major problem when it comes to BHA, i don't do much TA and i almost never RA because its a waste of time, but when i last did it, i dodged BHA many times yet for some reason still got hit by it alot. And when it comes to Ranger... i know how to dodge arrows, i have plenty of experience with it and know when things miss.
